NNA Flea Market

NNA Flea Market

The Northside Neighborhood Association Annual Flea Market happens on the first Saturday in August from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Backesto Park. See Calendar for additional details.

Vendors may purchase spaces for $13 in advance and $15 on the day of the event. Registration for spaces will be held at the Backesto Park Community Center the week before the event, dates and times TBA. Registration will also be available on the date of the Flea Market until all spaces are sold. Register early to be assured of a space!

As in past years, several rules are in effect which will be strictly enforced for the benefit of all participants: Spaces in the park cannot be selected in advance; no food or beverages may be sold; no loud music; vendors must stay within their spaces; if more than three spaces are reserved, they must be paid for in cash; each vendor is responsible for cleaning his or her space at 4 p.m.; and vendors must be cleaned up and out of their spaces by 4:30 p.m.

The Flea Market is sponsored by NNA and the San Jose Dept. of Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Services. For additional information, consult this Web site as the date nears, or phone Brian Clampitt at the Watson Park Community Center, at 280-7355.

NNA's flea market is the association's primary fundraiser. It typically nets around $2000 for neighborhood programs, including mailing the quarterly newsletter. For more information, please contact one of the committee members below.
